The Forum and The Broads

Enjoy and exciting morning at The Forum in Norwich http://www.theforumnorwich.co.uk/index.htm including a short talk about the building and a number of other options followed by a trip out to the Broads, a delicious pub lunch and river cruise.THEFORUMNORWICH

Your tour will begin with light refreshments on 'The Bridge' - a first floor restaurant affording superb views over Norwich.   In particular the stunning medieval church of St Peter Mancroft  and The Forum.   A short presentation will give you some inside information on the highly eventful background to this award winning building.

Following refreshments and the time of year which you have booked, your group can explore the beautiful city of Norwich, visit the Go Elephants Art Exhibition   (23rd June 2008 - 29th August 2008) visit the Norwich Christmas Markets (3rd - 14th December 2008)

Rejoin your coach to head out to Surlingham Broad, a short drive approximately 25 - 30 minutes where lunch will be served at Coldham Hall Tavern, a delightful thatched-roof riverside pub.

COLDHAMHALLTAVERN

Following lunch board your river cruise boat for a tour of Surlingham Broad, bringing you back to Norwich via Norfolk's oldest highway, the River Yare.   On the way you will pass old smuggling inns and millionaires 'gin palaces' moored on route.   The skipper's commentary on wildlife and landmarks will enliven your tour.   Toilets and a refreshments bar are available on-board.

The river cruise boat can drop you off at one of 3 quays, depending on what your group wishes to do to end their day.

If you would like to board your coach and return straight after the cruise you should disembark at Station Quay.

If you wish to have a look at the Cathedral on the way back into Norwich town center you should disembark at Pull's Ferry.

If your group would like to visit Norwich city center for some retail therapy you should disembark at Elm Hill Quay near one of the oldest streets in Norwich.

If your group does not rejoin your coach immediately after the cruise you should arrange to rejoin at The Forum or other suitable pick-up point.
